TRIPTYCH
 
Triptych is a creative collaboration between the different departments of AMFI; branding, management and design. The theme in 2015 was: Dutch Icon. The 10 different groups consisting of about 25 people each have been given their own category. Within this category every group must find an inspirational icon. This icon is the starting point of an innovative, sustainable, deepened and authentic brand.
 
OUR CATEGORY: URBAN DEVELOPMENT
 
WHAT IS URBAN DEVELOPMENT?
Cities do not just arise; they are the result of well-planned actions and structures. Different professionals such as architects, engineers, project managers and environment planners work together in this area. This collaboration is called Urban Development.
 
TWO DIFFERENT CURRENTS
1. Natural expansion: this occurs when a city is located in an area where there are good growth opportunities and where can be built easily.
2. Urban Revolution: this happens when a city is located in an area where expansion is not easy. The city must then develop from within to create space and improve living conditions.
